Teddy and Xander.

⭐⭐⭐⭐

I adored Honor! Xander is the perfect mix of tough and tender, and the way he steps up for Teddy and her kids completely melted me. Their slow-burn romance felt so real—full of heart, healing, and just the right amount of tension. I loved the firehouse brotherhood and the way Xander wrestles with his devotion to both his job and the woman he’s always wanted.

The only reason for four instead of five stars? I wanted more of Teddy’s journey from guarded to fully trusting him. But overall, this story was emotional, sweet, and impossible to put down. Highly recommend!

This was hands down my least favorite in the series. There were elements to the plot — particularly the FMC’s story — that were really deep and interesting, but the MMC felt underdeveloped to me and I felt that the constant hyperfocus on body image issues became annoying quickly. I wish writers would treat plus size FMCs as regular main characters and not characters only focused on their bodies.
