The perfect conclusion to the trilogy.  You could tell from Fight that Xander had been lusting over Teddy for YEARS, and I’m so glad we finally got their story. The spice was spicing in this one! I wish we had gotten to see a little bit more of the family dynamic after Teddy’s kids found out about the relationship. This is just a personal preference because I can also see from the other perspective that Xander was already such a huge part of their lives that he fit in seamlessly, so it’s just my opinion! Really enjoyed this series as a whole 🙂

this one was the most emotional story of the three.

Xander and Teddy’s story was adorable, but I did feel like they didn’t fully match their characters in the previous two.

Teddy came across as a funny, fierce woman but this book really focused on her insecurities.

However, with that being said, I absolutely loved Xander’s relationship with her children. He stepped up to help a single widowed mother and it was swoon worthy.

One thing I didn’t overly like was the time line. I feel like all of this happening within a year’s time line is very fast and a little unrealistic.

Didn’t stop me from tearing the eff up though.

Overall, a very cute read.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

XANDER FREAKING MACOMB! This freaking man had me in a chokehold instantly. He is so gone for Teddy, been obsessed with her for YEARS! I loved all their interactions but especially the way this man reacted to her body. After having kids Teddy is very self conscious about her body and how it has changed, Xander is straight obsessed and shows Teddy over and over.

The way Xander is with Teddy’s kids melted my heart. It is so apparent throughout the book how much the kids and him love eachother. As a stepmom this will get me in my feels EVERYTIME.

Finally I was in love with the girl group and how much support they gave eachother. I loved reading about their relationships through this series, they are some of my favorite FMC’s

💛Brother’s best friend
💛Widow/ single mom
💛Man obsessed
💛Found family

“Even married, even pregnant with another man's baby, I still wanted you. And fuck I hated myself for it,” he rasps brokenly. The breath that pulls in through my lips is ragged, emotion fraught. “You have dominated my thoughts for years, Teddy.”

Book 3 of the Hot Shots series. This one had all the tension… the banter. All of it. I laughed. I cried. It was so sweet and hot. Xander… he is perfection.

We’ve met Teddy throughout the series, and we knew she was married and she lost her husband.  She now lives next to Xander. And he helps her, he’s there for her and the kids, and even delivers baby Bea.

The way they grow and learn about themselves as they both go through their grief. And Xander is learning how to navigate being a hot shot and wanting this hot, sexy, single mama. And the way he says, mama. Yes please.

Teddy learns how to rely on those around her. Her brother, her friends. Even her late husband’s parents who are incredible.

I wanted more towards the end. I wanted this series more wrapped up. I felt like there could have been more.
