DNF at 12% - I’m so sad, the first in the series was my favourite romance book in months.
The writing style is not good. There are already three contradictory lines from the previous books… by 12%!!

The story was amazing, the characters pulled you in with their real life issues. I loved Xander and his struggle with his job as a hot shot and his growing love for Teddy. I also loved how you felt the pull of the attraction between the two but how each have their own inner struggles. Everyone deals with grief differently and losing a spouse and high school sweetheart would be devastating but finding love again and getting over the guilt of finding happiness again is an unfortunate reality and often hard hurdle to jump. Great book. Great spice. Would highly recommend whole series!! Loved it!!
