I truly hated this and should have DNF’d, but I was driving so couldn’t switch to something else.

The whole book is basically a group of friends asking each other ‘what’s wrong with Julie?’ And then whisper arguing over who should confront her about her teeth and sudden switch from being a vegetarian to eating meat.

The ‘reveal’ literally made no sense in the context of this story and the ending was so pathetic it actually made me feel angry.

needed something easy and quick! just wasn’t my favorite; really shitty cliche indie horror movie vibes was slightly entertaining though !

4.5...? I really enjoyed this book, listened to the audiobook (Sarah Scott is a great narrator for this book, btw) in the span of a day). It was quick and easy and enjoyable. I just can’t give it a five because there was no “wow” factor that I usually save my 5-stars for. I’m torn though, because it was perfectly enjoyable. Great beach/vacation read if you’re into horror without wanting a tome like a King or Koontz.
