sweet and cute

light, fun, fluffy romance.

I liked it because I love Stephanie Perkins' writing style, and I love the setting of the boarding school in France, but I found it to be insta-lovey and their relationship was kind of rushed at times. My favorites in this series go- Anna, Isla, and then Lola.

This was a cute story. The characters were slightly irritating at first but they grew on me. It was unpredictable and a quick read. I enjoyed it, but I liked the Anna book better. 3.5 stars.

This made me feel both extremely happy and yet extremely depressed. I hope there are attractive boys at University that will live up to my expectations...

Honestly, I probably would have liked this book more if I hadn't read it when I did.
If I'd read it sooner, like when I was planning to when it first came out, I would have been so happy with it and it's fresh adventures with adorable characters I already knew in a school in Paris that was just deeply enchanting. But I didn't read it when it first came out, I was put off for some reason and so I ended up reading it when I did which was directly off of The Raven Cycle.
Really, it could have been any book or series of books that I'd read this after, but being The Raven Cycle and with my utter loathing at my situation of having to wait for the next book, this was a rebound, and it deserves better than that.
I was too hung up on my Raven boys to really appreciate this book. Maybe I'll re-read it later, hell the whole trilogy and it will be a nice cozy weekend of adorable couples in Paris but until then, I'm just left feeling wanting. Probably because I'm still thirsty as hell for sleeping kings and cursed kisses. (Damn you, Stiefvater!).
It's cute though. Very rom-com, worth the read.

This just wasn't for me. Isla seemed really immature to me. I might try to pick it up again sometime, but I had to return it to the library.

This book was just as amazing as the last two. Stephanie really knows how to write a love story. I loved the fact that Isla and Josh admitted they liked each other early on in the book, it was much more interesting watching their relationship grow. I have decided that I love Josh the most out of the 3 guys, this book really made me fall in love with him (he is adorable). ALSO, OMG the scene with everyone in was great, I loved that we could see a bit more of the other couples. This book had me hooked the whole time, I could NOT put it down!! It made me cry a good few times, which is always good in my opinion of a book.

This might have been my favorite book in the series. In Perkins's final installment of her young adult series, she follows Isla (Eye-la) Martin and Josh Wasserstein as they fall madly in love in a short amount of time. Isla's had her eye on Josh since their freshman year, so when she runs into him at a cafe in New York, it's Kismet - literally, that's the name of the cafe they meet at. They reconnect at school, start a whirlwind romance, but then, the worst happens. It was a cute story with an absolutely adorable ending - and there were no love triangles. A perfectly adorable love story for the youths.
