Lynn Painter is now my go to for a fast delightful read. A fun story, fast read, a little angst but not too much, cute characters with good chemistry, just an all around win. I loved the premise, so unique and hilarious.

This was so adorable and I love Maxy with my whole heart. A cute lil romance!! And Larry and Rose are hilarious roommates

I absolutely loved the tropes in this book! The fact that they were executed so well made the story even better. There are times when you’re reading a book and wish a detail had been changed because it would have altered everything—but I never felt that way here. Everything happened in the right order and exactly as it should have. There was a logical flow to the events, and if they had been rearranged, it would have completely changed the entire story.

The characters were also wonderfully fleshed out, each with distinct personalities that added depth to the narrative (as much as you can in romance). This was my first time reading Lynn Painter, and I absolutely loved her writing style (it's effortlessly charming!).

I enjoy an easy read. It was short, sweet, and just the right amount if mind numbing I needed.

Sophie has found out, days before her, wedding that her fiancé has been cheating on her. Her MOH’s brother knows a guy who has been an objector at weddings before for other people who can’t cancel the wedding for one reason or another. Enter Max. He and Sophie, after he objects at her wedding, have a nice time chatting, eating pizza, and hanging out. He gets in touch a few months later to ask for her help with another wedding and they start a partnership that leads to a relationship…only catch Sophie claims to not believe in love. I enjoyed this story for most part, but Sophie’s insistence that love isn’t real after only one bad relationship experience was kind of annoying. Max is the redeeming character in their duo. Cute!
