Very American but also very straight to the point. Covers the story with an air of normalcy that adds to its poignancy

This book should be mandatory reading for anyone that is going to send humans to war. It truly is one of the best anti war books out there.

Well, it definitely fits the standard for 'postmodern'. I wish I would have read it before any Pynchon because compared to him this is just OK. so it goes.

"Listen: Billy Pilgrim has come unstuck in time."

very interesting take on a book about and surrounding the events of a war, and a soldiers life. I very much enjoyed the chosen, Sci-Fi-esque, perspective used to move around throughout different events in the main character's life. This definitely had the feel of a classic book that i will enjoy reading again years in the future.

i try to read a classic every once in a while. think this about covers me for the year. kept going because i forgot my book i /wanted/ to read.

and so it goes.

(god i hated that)
