There is much to like about the book. The premise. The story within the story. The characters are likeable, but overall it just did not do it for me. After being half way in the book it became a tedious read. I was not enjoying it anymore, and felt that I was so done with it, even though the story was far from finished. I did not finish it, and I really do not know WHY.
