2.5. November 2019 Book Club. Meh. I enjoyed the two parallel stories and how they were interwoven. At times I enjoyed the past/fantasy more, but realized that alone would not be anything new in the YA fantasy genre. The map information was a nice touch. I would really enjoy just the present portion of the story but with an older narrator.
