My Cone and Only by Susannah Nix was just a cute fun listen! I really enjoyed the introduction to the King family.
Andi and Wyatt are life long best friends. Andi has always loved her bff and wanting to take things to the next step but her serial dating best friend Wyatt only sees her as that, his best friend.
That is until a real estate Developer tries to take everything that Andi has.
I thought Andi and Wyatt had a very strong friendship and that made their relationship even stronger.
Chris Brinkley and Amanda Stribling were a great narration team – I adored how Chris portrayed Wyatt and Amanda as quirky Andi was so much fun!

This book was so cute and so wholesome. I loved my experience with this book, and I'm also such a sucker for brother's best friend romance. And Wyatt's story along with Andie's story just worked so well together and by themselves. And I cannot wait to read more from this series. I also really enjoyed Susannah Nix's writing style because it was so fun.

I requested an arc of My Cone and Only because of the adorable cover and cute synopsis! This book is about a pair of childhood friends navigating through the transition from friends to lovers in a small town. My Cone and Only incorporates some of my favorite tropes into one book: friends to lovers, small town romance, and brothers best friend! This was my first Susannah Nix novel and I think it is safe to say it will not be my last. I loved the sweet, smart, and sexy heroine Andie-- who is the perfect match for tortured soul Wyatt. Bonus trope: it has only ever been you! If you enjoyed any of the Winston Brothers series by Penny Reid you will love this book and I cannot wait for the rest of the series :)

Audiobook for this was so good! I loved the accents of both narrators, it really added another layer to the story and made it feel genuine and real. This is a sweet story with some good spice! I loved the chemistry and build up between Wyatt and Andie. I didn’t care too much about the side plots, they were very simple and didn’t add much, but it didn’t take away from the story either. I liked how this mostly focused on Wyatt and Andie and their progression and we saw a lot of them which was great! This book introduced the series, the family and the town really well, can’t wait for the next one!

I mean you got me with huge family and small town romance. Wyatt and Andie are cute it's just I'm not fan of brother best friend trope but that's just me. Overall can't wait to read Tannner and Lucy book exes to lovers and all other siblings are super interesting.

This is the 1st book in Susannah Nix’s King Family series. I think this might be a spin-off from another series, but that didn’t hinder my enjoyment. (Though now I would love to hear how some of those couples got together.).

I love Brother’s Best Friend/Best Friend’s Sister trope as well as friends to lovers and they were both in full force here. Wyatt King is the black sheep of his ice cream empire family and trying to carve his own path in life. Andie Lockhart is Josh’s (his best friend) sister, but also a close friend in her own right. Josh made it clear years ago that he didn’t want Wyatt and Andie together. Wyatt’s been living a life of no new attachments since. Wyatt’s kind of a mess on other fronts - a lot stemming from his chaotic family, disinterest in the family business, and his less than ideal father.

Toss in another favorite trope of forced proximity while Wyatt does repairs on Andie’s house and this was just a great set up for me. These two finally get together and realize how perfect they are for each other. While there is a “third act breakup”, I like that it’s resolved quickly and Wyatt’s grand gesture is adorable. I do wish that Wyatt had done a little more self-examination & acknowledgement of some of his behavior outside of his relationship with Andie. Nix did a lot to build those up and then just kind of left them out there semi-unresolved, perhaps they’ll play in future books more.

Loved the epilogue and am excited for more King siblings to get their HEA. I can’t wait for Lucy & Tanner’s book next.

Narration:
I’m swoony over Amanda Stribling & Chris Brinkley’s narration. They’re both so talented and paired together with this small Texas town’s residents - it’s absolute perfection. A dream to listen to.

Content Warnings (possible spoilers):
excessive drinking (getting repeatedly drunk) & marijuana use by MC

I received a copy of the audiobook from Home Cooked Books and am leaving an honest review.

I was provided an advance reader copy in exchange for an honest review.

Wyatt and Andie were friends forever and dancing around a romance. Wyatt wasn’t sure if he could commit and Andie wasn’t sure about a lot of things.

Insert Josh and Mia from another book…read that one! It’s great!

I enjoyed the story. I enjoyed the story overlap (it’s so good to have a continuation of the story without a continuation of the story).

Check this out! It’s good.
