Very interesting view of Native Women and their perspectives on their culture and life. I loved the format as it reminded me of a literary magazine with all its art and pictures along with the writings. Only reason I didn't rate this more is that I wish it were longer!

What a gorgeous collection of stories, poems, interviews and art, and images. Beautifully woven together to reflect the voices of so many different Indigenous women.

After finishing my library copy, I immediately went out to buy my own. I will come back to it again and again. A great pair or one of a collection for MANY different studies in the classroom, #Notyourprincess can be used in any middle school classroom, with some careful selection with attention to age and maturity.

Get this book.
