Really liked this one! Mia was being typical Mia. Oh her little normal life struggles besides being a princess.

MICHAEL. <3

oh. my God this book (and the series) is SOOOOOOOOOOO FUNNNNNY!!!!!!!! everyone has to read it. well maybe not the boys. but whatever. still.

Princess for President! Of Albert Einstein High. It's the start of a new school year, and Mia's "friend," Lilly, does her the honor of nominating Mia for school president. Campaigning against Mia's mortal enemy, popular cheerleader Lana Weinberger. It's class warfare as popular snobs face off against Mia and her unpopular friends. And that's just one of the many...MANY problems facing Mia, who is nothing if not a lightning rod for drama.

Most interesting to me is that this book is the one that REALLY begins the emphasize the emerging sexuality of the characters. Lana torments Mia by saying that Michael Moscowitz is going to expect Mia to "do it," and...she's kind of right. Michael wants to have sex. One day. But first there's a lot of growing to be done, including a few talks about protection and the manipulative things boys (except Michael) say, such as boys getting "backed up." It's good to see a young adult novel that approaches sex gradually and educates as it goes.

Certainly recommended. Not one of my favorites in the series, but still high enough to be over most of the books out there!

Although this was entertaining, Mia was a little too whiny and I didn’t like how the topic of sex was talked about during this book
