Le gang des prodiges by Marissa Meyer

Well, simply put, this just wasn't my thing.

I knew this book was young adult when I bought it, which I really don't care for, but I'd read enough positivity about it to think it was worth reading. Unfortunately, the target audience for this must be very young as it's written so simplistically and everything is very predictable.

Don't get me wrong, I think if you're the target audience for this you'll love it. But if you're an adult or even still quite young but are quite well-read then I would suggest you walk on by.

I haven't given a star rating for this one, I don't think it would be fair, considering I'm so far beyond the correct demographic.

This is still a favorite of mine and I haven't read the last two books yet. I forgot that this book ended the way it did and I'm so glad the rest of the books are out.

Amazing! I was getting "The Boys" vibes in the beginning, and I love that show. But it's actually not like the show at all. Yes, they both feature super heroes and you're not too sure who the good guys are, and who the bad guys are but that's where the similarities stop.

I really enjoyed the secret identities part that both the two main characters had. It gave you a sense of being all knowing and I had many toe curling moments when I thought one was about the figure out the other.

This was a long audiobook at around 17 hours, but it never felt long because it was so exciting and intriguing.

I had a feeling about the twist at the end but it wasn't exactly my prediction. I'm wondering what's going to happen in the next instalment.
