Ummmm, I am still blushing thinking about this book. It was absolutely delectable. While this book has some of the filthiest, hottest smut I have ever read, it also weaves in a story about self-discovery and acceptance, which should not be glossed over. I loved these characters, and it was easy to root for them hehe.

The nonbinary and neurodivergent representation was honestly just a cherry on the top of a fun, emotional, steamy read. I can't speak to the lived experience of the nonbinary rep, but the neurodivergent rep personally attacked me with how authentic it felt.

This was SO GOOD. I had to stop reading a couple times so that I didn't cry at work, but other than that, I couldn't put it down. I'm obsessed with the writing and the characters, but especially Pye. Their willingness to accept every single aspect of Avirin, no matter how she herself felt about it, says so much about him. I'll be thinking about these two for a while until I can start reading Skin :)
