I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is definitely a super sweet story with no real conflict but perfect for when those times when you just want something to give you the warm fuzzies. I loved that Ethan’s son, Jake, conspired to push these two together even when he didn’t know about their shared past but felt at least his father needed this connection.

Ethan and Rhys both click just as much as they did as teens when they meet up again. Rhys is the most patient man on earth with Ethan’s fears. Ethan hasn’t had anyone that has stuck around in a long time (not necessarily by choice) and he’s afraid his past will repeat himself. Cute, sweet but I didn’t feel a whole lot of depth to the story with the length. There were some editing errors (names and points of view being mixed up) near the beginning of the story and since I received this after release and it seems to be common to many books I buy from this author I thought I would mention it.

4 stars. This was the cutest, sweetest, fluffiest book I think I've ever read. It has everything I love. Omegaverse, second chance romance, an older couple (they're in their 40s) and family. The characters were all wonderful. I loved Ethan and his relationship with his son Jake. They have a very strong bond and I loved how open and honest they always were with one another. Rhys was just as wonderful. He's a very kind and romantic person and him and Ethan were a great character with incredible passion between them.

This was just the kind of MM book I needed right now. It's short and sweet with an adorable ending.
