Loved this book. Just when I expected something, there was a twist in the opposite direction. Ever since The Good Samaritan, I pretty much read anything by John Marrs and I was not disappointed.

Really good pacing and background information. I liked the way the story unfolded and how it was told in audio.

Dominick is a crazy man, him telling his story and why he did what he did was well done. I’m sad that Becca died but I’m happy that it ends with joe finding his sister.Spoiler

I am going to have to DNF at 43%. This was so boring, no real pace to the story and very predictable. Not a favourite from Marrs.

"Her Last Move" started a little slow, but I was fully emotionally invested once we started digging into the characters' lives and motives.

Great police procedural and I'm not usually a fan, because they tend to get a little boring. I never had that through this book though some moments were slower than others.
