I felt demure when in the spectrum and how the note expression grew; kindly feminine and doused of selective truths. The characterization made hearty moderation to a stoic passions, yet the actions were home to the need of coming back in range of their natural proximity, mode of their hope was advantageous. The like was how defined and genuine of what could very well be the situation of presented honor for a longing. You'd lead from each natural charisma and be held to sincerity when reading this book.

SO good. Everyone should read this book at least once in their life.
Moderate: Domestic abuse, Incest, Racial slurs, Racism, Rape
Book title:The Color Purpule
Author: Alice Walker
Rate: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐/5
Review:
The Color Purple marked my powerful introduction to African American women's literature, profoundly defying my expectations, in the most positive sense. Though it had lingered on my "to be read" list since foreverrr, I finally immersed myself in its pages during Black History Month.
The novel centers on Celie, a young woman subjected to horrific sexual abuse by her father and forced into a brutal marriage. Walker masterfully weaves a narrative through Celie's letters, initially addressed to God and later to her sister, Nettie. The story vividly portrays the lives of diverse Black women—Celie, Nettie, Shug Avery, Sofia, and Mary Agnes—as they navigate a patriarchal and racially oppressive society.
Celie's character resonated deeply. Despite enduring immense suffering, she embodies resilience and an unwavering capacity for love. Her hope of reuniting with Nettie, after years of silence, stands as a testament to the strength of the human spirit.
I rated this book 3 out of 5. I did struggle a bit at the beginning because of the use of Black English vernacular, which I am not used to.

I love watching main characters grow into their full potential!!
A story that takes place in early 20th century Georgia. Celie is a very submissive woman who just tries to survive the abuse of her father and her husband. However through her meeting her future lover Shrug Avery and other strong women, Celie learns the joy of life and the strength she holds.
Celie’s sister Nettie also is an important character who lives a very different life. Her life in Africa as a Black missionary highlights the complicated challenges of pan-Africanism and the division between the west and the global south.
The historical context of the book and the way each character strives for their own joy is beautiful.
