This was an Audible listen, or a re-read.
I read this book over 20 years ago, enjoyed it.
The re-read/listen, not so much.
It's so romantic!
Meh.

Graphic Audio does good at the audio part although there were only so many times I could stand to hear the transformation noises of man to wolf and vice versa. The Graphic Audio narrator is always good even if the story is weak. I didn't really like the main character from the start but I did warm up to him a little finally.

Interesting concept, but just too much violence for me. I'm sitting here reading the graphic description of his whole family getting slaughtered and realized... I'm just not that into it.

Werewolves in World War 2. An interesting take on the war genre (at least for me). War story was fairly generic, but it was well written with some interesting characters.

There was a bit too much blood and gore for my taste, but it was full of action and excitement, just what you would expect in a spy novel with a werewolf.

Not as good as Swan Song, in my opinion, and about 200 pages too long.
