Well, well, well. My dear Joseph. I appreciate your devotion to writing in English considering it wasn’t your mother tongue but maybe, just maybe, you didn’t really give us a favour.
I have to admit, I enjoyed some parts immensely and was interested at times but looking at it as a whole, it didn’t give me anything to think about after reading it.

I understand why this is such a classic. Despite its flaws the book reads almost like a screenplay interspersed with the philosophical ramblings of our main character. What I don't understand is how a lot of people don't seem to get this book I don't think is our narrators realization of how close he is to Mr. Kurtz, we aren't under the impression that what we are seeing is a good person and the ending even exemplifies that by showing that even after Kurtz is dead The narrator still chooses to let him live as people remember him, as a good person. Because our narrator sees a lot of himself in Mr. Kurtz, he sees that evil the horror, he knows that he would be in the same position If not for fortunate circumstances and I think it is stupid to simply dismiss this novel as the racist colonialist nonsense as some of these reviews seem to do
my heart goes out to all the english majors out there that have to read this absolute piece of shit of a book fuck this book and fuck joseph conrad
