These were some of the best Westetn poems written at the time and so I rate it as a 4 because it does succeed in offering what it tries to. However, I guess poetry just isn't my thing because after reading all 101 poems, I only walked away with 18 I truly liked or that made me feel and ponder. But I believe that is my own fault so it would not be fair to take stars away from a book due to my inability to appreciate it.
