Underholdende, men kunne vært noe kortere. Ble litt mye av det samme etter en stund...

aaaa i’m so happy that i’ve finally read a book i enjoyed. this year so far is being a very bad reading year for me, i start reading a book thinking it will be my next 5 star read and it just ends up being a big disappointing 2. this book SCARED ME SO MUCH because again, i thought this would be a 5 star read BUT it started very slow and i was totally uninterested. i was so disappointed and didn’t get all the love around it. but i pushed through and wow! this was a perfect summer read for me with how short and easy it was to read, i was able to read it anywhere and that was a big plus. it is a very good beach/pool book, very good going to sleep, waking up / morning read book. it fit every scenario for me to read. i even read a couple sentences and recited it to my friends on nights out lol
but seriously, the first 50ish pages, maybe a little more idk, is what broke my 5

Every woman should read this book. I would especially recommend this to women in their 20’s. Dolly is funny and so open and vulnerable. I could relate to so much of her inner feelings and struggles while we aren’t the same people with the same upbringing. For women who have female friends and want to keep them, read this book. This book made me smile and cry.

I enjoyed this book but feel it was overhyped and didn’t love it as much as I expected to.

a perfectly escable piece of writing for every woman at whatver stage of life they are in right now. something will speak to you no matter what! aldertons dissertation on love, life, friendships and more is hilariously funny and will make you cry, question everything you know, then put you back together with a newfound sense of inspiration and motivation.
