I don’t know what was the message of this book. I feel disappointed because there multiple opportunities to explore how women became dragons through race, class, etc. I feel like this was written through a very white women lense which wouldn’t be an issue if the author didn’t note or bring up civil rights and drag queens.

I started to listen to the audio book but I did not finish it. It was fairly boring and I did not enjoy the style.
Two stars because I like the concept of the book at lot! It just wasn’t for me.
