Wow. Just...wow. Very fast paced, same quality as the rest of the series, and definitely a gripping climax. Everything I've come to expect from the Shadowdance series has just been cumulated into one book, and it is definitely worth the read. Great open ending, though now I need to read the rest of his books to know what happens next...
All the forces and characters were very well handled, and even the multiple villains interacted in really interesting and fun ways. The scenes between Thren and Haern in particular felt very well orchestrated, and I look forward to reading it again. Hopefully a little slower.
Also, fantastic central villain. Muzien the Darkhand is delightfully creepy, and he was really fun to read about.

Meh. It was good enough, but it all got a bit tiresome by the end. The entertaining, if unrealistic fight scenes kept my interest, but the story became rather dull, and there was really only one character that I cared about at all. This series could have been shorter and had more impact. Not terrible, but a little tropey, derivative and by the numbers.
