I loved the style. Rhythm seemed awkward but perhaps it deserves another look.

Other than the repetition of "tap tap boom boom", it didn't hold much interest for my son.

So wonderfully musical. I love the syncopated rhymes in this book. It would be a fantastic book to do a dramatic reading replete with percussion instruments. A must-share with students.

Great for a music integrated lesson. The phrases "tap" and "boom" are repeated, and you could use instruments to emphasize the sounds and make meaning.

Love books like this! Books like "Dusk", "Blackout" and the "Snowman at ..." series (just to name a few) - simple little stories that really capture the feel of an ordinary experience and make it magical.

This would be lovely in a weather storytime. The kids could say the tap tap or the the boom boom.
