It was interesting to read the story, especially with the dialects. Apart from that, I did not really connect with the characters and the plot so I would not consider reading it again.

I read this book for my Freshman English class, and I was pleasantly surprised by it. Typically, I find that books you have to read for class or typical 'classics' tend to be annoyingly 'deep' or pretentious, but Of Mice and Men offered me a pleasant range of character development, plot, and themes. I would recommend it, and I think it is definitely a good book.
