I think this book could have been shorter but I did find the plot very compelling. The characters were a bit slow on the uptake which was frustrating. I wasn’t prepared for how graphic it is, basically all the possible trigger warnings.

Very gruesome. Decided to skip past the gory details after knowing how explicit the author was. But that didn’t stop me from being driven by the plot to the point I was audibly shouting the main characters names by the end
