This book was really thought provoking. I love a time-travel tale, and I felt like this one was done so incredibly well. I loved the plot twist at the end, and I just thought that everything was tied up really well.

I almost never read any sci-fi, but really enjoyed this! Enough to read another by this author.

Finding peace where you are through the mechanic of time travel is a plot device I haven’t seen much of. Really enjoyed this book and I don’t usually read a lot of science fiction. The way the book is set up is a little jarring at first, but the layout doesn’t get in the way of understanding the plot. The characters felt real, which is important when you’re jumping around centuries, and the ending tied everything up neatly.

ESJM (author) is just so good. I feel like she could write anything and I’d enjoy it. I love how nuanced her writing is, and how deftly she weaves things together, and how little importance she places on weaving them together the way you’d expect. And I love how human her characters are. This book makes me was to reread her other books. I look forward to reading them all back-to-back one day.
