The finale. This is it. The culimnation of what happened on Kerenza and the attempted cover up.
This book is a tad different from the rest in that it relies more on transcripts of video footage so it reads more like a normal book than the others in the series and that was a slight let down for me considering how much I like the style of the first two, but it doesn’t detract from the story. And we finally learn who has been doing all the transcribing and that came as something unexpected to me but the minute it was explained who was doing it, it made so much sense about the writing style of the analyst and it seemed so obvious that I wondered how I hadn’t put it together before.
In the finale of The Illuminae Files, we pick up the story back on Kerenza.
Wait, what? I thought it was destroyed in the invasion. SHOCK. SURPRISE. AWE. There were survivors on Kerenza!

Seriously. Do NOT miss this series. This should not even be classified YA for all the adult content. Not a bad thing either I ate it UP. The continued character development and interstellar world building… the unbelievable plot twists that literally had my mouth falling open. I wish I could go back and read this series again for the first time. What an ending. What a story.

Историята ще завърши там където започна. Оцелелите от инвазията на родната си планета - Керенза IV, превърнала се в ябълката на раздора поради ценния ресурс, намиращ се под повърхността й, понесоха доста загуби.
След бягане на живот и смърт от жестоката организация “Бай Тех”, вихрещ се зомби апокалипсис на борда на корабите и разминаване с мултивселенско унищожение, героите се завръщат на мястото на окупацията в опит да сритат лошите и да спасят който и каквото е останало на клетата планетата.
Като цяло книгите не изненадват с мега оригинален сюжет, но начинът на представяне и динамиката в тях, предразполагат към почти “фантастично” бързо четене, и не малко удоволствие. Абсолютно подходящо четиво за навлизащите тепърва читатели в научно фантастичния жанр. Без излишни терминологии и сложни философии, книгите ще ви подготвят, а и забавляват в света извън земната зона на комфорт.

I’m glad I did.
I didn’t hate it bc there were some redeemable parts (AIDAN) and some parts I hated (everything else). So all in all I liked it enough to keep reading.

Well that was quite the adventure, it’s a shame it all ended so quickly. I thoroughly enjoyed this series!
