I love how action-packed it got and how nicely it wrapped up. I still consider [b:Gemina|29236299|Gemina (The Illuminae Files, #2)|Amie Kaufman|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1480097137s/29236299.jpg|44560442] to be my favourite in the trilogy but I think this instalment is pretty solid as well.
Recommend the trilogy to anyone who wants to try reading sci-fi.

How nice of this entire series to make me an emotional wreck. Audio books all the way. It was truly a life changing experience. Can I dream and hope for a 4th book??
I'm not into science fiction and not into the writing type, I was so close to DNF but I was to bold.
hard to explain how much i liked this series -- super creative and enjoyable and interesting. characters themselves are typical and plot twists became predictable but i just had so much FUN which was awesome :)

It ended too neatly, but it was always gonna. I can't believe I'm saying this about a series that kills 85% of its named cast, but the authors are just incapable of killing their darlings and it's the source of most of the structural problems here.
It's a good middle point between the other two, tbh it's also probably receiving the AIDAN bump.
Hilarious that of the top five death scenes, three belong to AIDAN, a character that cannot die in any way that truly matters.

*4.5 Stars. I think Illuminae will always be my favorite but this was an amazing finale to this series! It was so great to see all the characters and storylines come together and all of the chaos and drama that ensued. This has definitely become one of my favorite series of all time and made me realize how much I love science fiction!
