Nothing beats the first one but I loved this trilogy.
Full review to come. I can’t believe it’s finally ended. (And yes, I’m crying a little)
The first half of this book was very good but not exceptional, but the second half was unbelievably amazing and the last quarter had me on the verge of tears almost the entire time. (Don’t worry, that’s not code for “everyone dies at the end.”) So I figure that rounds it to 5 stars.

A great final part to an engrossing trilogy told in an unusual style
A great finale; although I'm clearly seing a pattern. Although I really really enjoyed this book it felt like a retalling of ILLUMINAE and GENIMA. Basically the story of a girl and boy who hate one another and have a common past, they end up trying to save the universe and fall in love in the process. They manage to save the universe but it was a close call, and the boy dies in the process.... but oh no actually he isn't dead. And everything ends well.
Don't get me wrong I am not complaining, I loved it and loved the ending of this third book. Although I would have appreciated a bit more of 'realistic' things to happen ( Yes I know that it is science fiction and that nothing is realistic, but still, isn't the author's role to make us believe it is true ?)
My favorite character is AIDEN and I was sooo hoping for him to have a spin-off about his early 'life' or even after. So I'm still waiting.

Personalmente molto meglio di gemina, soprattutto verso la fine.
Continua mancarmi quel qualcosa che mi ha portato a leggere illuminae senza potermi staccare dalle pagine, anche se non riesco a mettere a fuoco esattamente cosa sia.
Lettura piacevole in ogni caso, una buona conclusione.
Anche se il mio personale good ending era vederli schiattare tutti (si Hanna sto guardando proprio te), ma non si può avere tutto dalla vita.
