Like the first two books in the series, I simultaneously listened to the audiobook and followed along in the ebook. You really get the full experience that way because the audio with its full cast and extra sound effects is awesome, and following along in print, you can see pictures and illustrations and creative text layouts. This was a satisfying conclusion to the series. It didn’t have as much shock factor as the previous books, but within the realm and looking at the series as a whole, it was very good. I’m not a big audiobook listener, but I’d definitely recommend this series to be listened to.

What a way to end a series. Genuinely sad that this is finished. Let alone the format was just so intreaging.

The new two characters fit amazinly in the story. However I really enjoyed that we got the old pack aswell and not just the two new ones.

This does contain some spoilers. No plottwists revealed (except in the end but I put a warning before that too), mostly my feeling towards them but there is some of how the story goes. Read at your own risk.

Just as the first two books, this book's plottwists left me with no trust.

I loved how it was this group dynamic of them. Them all coming coming together after the first two books and working and fighting as a team.

I loved the relationships. Never stopped rooting for Ezra and Kady and I still love them from the bottom of my heart. Every interaction they had left me wondering, how two people can fit together so perfectly and jealous of their relationship and how they act around eachother. Definitely one of my absolute favourite book couples.
I loved how Nik was portrayed, especially in his relationship with Hanna and how he was so protective and loving towards her. How one of their issues as a couple of actually not really knowing a lot about eachtoher was tackled and how it was solved in the end.
His and Ella's relationship was just adorable too and you could really grasp how much they mean to eachother and how much they care about eachother even with all the teasing.
I enjoyed the i guess you could call it found-family trope at the side with Isaac Grant and how he treated all of the ''children'' with so much care and love regardless of where they're from or what their pasts looked like.

But I especially liked how, while they all were so great in their relationships, all of them were their own person, their own character with their own specific past and personality. No character felt shallow or without depth and I loved that about the books.

Again, the plottwists left me sitting there with my mouth open for so long, my jaw cramped up (in the best way possible). For some scenes I wasn't able to read anymore because my eyes where so full of tears. I was so connected with all of the characters, I was on the edge of my seat every time one of them was in danger and I cried an uncountable amount of tears with every character that died or seemed to have died (not saying who made it and who didn't).

[SPOILER]

The only thing that felt a bit meh to me was that everyone survived. I would've cried and hated everyone if one of them wouldn'tve made it too bu it just seemed too perfect smh, that they all lived in the end. Like Katya still breathing, Kady n all not having to sacrifice themselves, Ezra and Nick saving themselves with the parachute. Like how did that all go well? In the end it kinda felt like it was too perfectly set up to feel real. Or rather it ended too happily. Too much happy ending.

Over 1800 pages in this entire trilogie and I have very much enjoyed it (even tho it broke me entirely lol), absolutely worth it.

Four stars for this one ONLY because I couldn't love it with all the dying and killing. Uuuugggh. It was written well but that stuff kills me and I stick to the Goodreads "how did you like it" rating system because that feels more viable to me than me deciding what books are good or great in general and not to me. ANYWAY, this series was a friggin RIDE. I haven't been so glued to a book in a very very long time, let alone an entire series! The whole arc must have already been decided and sketched out very clearly before they published them because it felt seamless and gripping. Bravo!
