These comics, as always, are a balm to the soul: they're cute, short and with a flawless autumn vibe, and just enough creepiness to make the story interesting. The very ending, with the psa, felt a bit condescending though, and I feel bad that Wirt is always painted as the villain and selfish for wanting some nice things to himself.

This felt just like an episode of the show. Themes of the difference between self care and isolation, great writing that sets elements up, and a cute tea recipe at the end.

If you love the series Over the Garden Wall, you should absolutely pick up the graphic novels! They have all the charm and humor of the show packed into a quick read with great illustrations.
