It was a sweet and simple romance! Totally clean as well! I love all of Kasie West's books, but this one I think is one of my favorites! The main character (Maddie) was totally relatable (except for one thing but no spoilers lol)! And Seth was adorable and cute! And I really want a Seth in my life now lol!

Although I really like stories about winning the lottery (I prefer money lotteries over, say, hunger games lotteries), this one fell pretty flat for me. I spent half the story worried about credit card interest and the other half being annoyed at all the secondary characters in this book (all of which I promptly forgot as soon as I closed the book). I'll avoid any "West didn't hit the lottery with this one" jokes but...

Girl makes irresponsible financial decisions. But girl is a teenager and I guess it makes sense to be like that if you're a teen. Still a enjoyable read though!!!

This was a cute fluffy romance story, and it was just adorable. I really liked Seth. And I mostly liked Maddie; there was just a bit there in the middle where her thoughts and choices frustrated me. Still, this was a nice light read, and I think I would probably try more Kasie West books in the future.

I enjoyed this book as a light, easy read. It’s got some great tropes and the characters are definitely explored well. I do feel however that the romance wasn’t the main focus of the book, you don’t really get flirty cute Maddie & Seth until you get around chapter 30! However, I did enjoy Maddie’s growth. She had to learn how to grow and adapt without letting people walk all over her. #Trina supremacy!! You’ll see what I mean by chapter 41

I LOVE Kasie West’s book. The romance is always so sweet between the main characters. I don’t know if my problem was that I read a similar book about a female lottery winner from another one of my favorite romance writers, Jennifer E. Smith’s Windfall, just six weeks earlier but it did take me awhile to get into the groove of this book. Although both books are about how life changes after a major lottery win, Lucky In Love, is told from winner’s point of view as she deals with her sudden influx of money. Once I really got into the story, I just couldn’t put it down.
