a few details about the end were uncomfortable/unnecessary but overall, a great mystery with an endearing main character.

3.5. I liked how fast paced and easy to read the book was. The ending was not great, but usually horrors and mysteries have disappointing endings to me so that’s not new. For a debut novel, I was really impressed.

I’m all about neurodivergent characters, especially ones as sweet as Molly. I loved rooting for her and watching her find a chosen family.

However, I wish the author would have researched the legal side of things—I’m begging you, authors, please do more than watch Suits and Boston Legal if you’re going to include legal scenes in your books.

Four stars because I’m obsessed with Molly and her growth.
