This was pure joy. Gertrude was brought to Fairyland when she was 10, but she's been stuck there for 27 years trying to find the key to leave. Gert is a fun character that many of us can relate to and that ending made me laugh. I cannot wait to pick up the next volume. Artwork is beautiful, but graphic.

I Hate Fairyland is one of the most deranged comics I've ever read, but it's honestly such fun!  And by fun, I mean you have to be really OK with on page violence, death, gore, dismemberment of both fairy folk and Gertrude to get the enjoyment outta this one.

But, I don't mind any of those things, so yeah, definitely recommend!
