Three fun essays about mediation, from three surprisingly similar yet also wildly different authors. Galloway sets the stage with media philosphy, Thacker takes up a cultural analysis approach, and Wark closes off with what might be called an intellectual history of heresy. The vocabulary that Galloway sets up for different modes of mediation (hermetic, irenic, furious) is useful, if a bit provincial. Thacker and Wark each go on their own tangents with those three categories in mind, expanding the concept of mediation far beyond what it is typically taken to mean in the process.
