The book keeps mentioning who the Stitcher was and yet nothing was being done. It felt like it dragged and just wasn't keen to find out what happened.
Darcy Coates is one of my favorite authors , there isn’t a book of hers I haven’t loved, and this was no exception!
This book had such a spooky, creepy feeling and is a perfect read for Fall. This story was character driven and you wind up loving the kids as they battle their own demons. I loved the sister relationship (which is a first for me). And the friendships felt genuine & real.
This story did drag for me a bit in the beginning but it eventually picked up and became a page turner for me . The town was strange & everyone feared The Stitcher, the creature was nightmarish & scary. This book had all the spooky vibes!!
I highly recommend this book. Especially if you’re into YA and like horror. You won’t be disappointed!

This book was super creepy and seriously had me paranoid about being outside at night lol. It started to drag a bit towards the end, but I wanted to know how it ended, so it didn't drag THAT badly. Fun (but scary) read!

The book was okay. Personally, I didn’t like that it was written in third person pov, but it did work for the book I guess. Another thing I thought the lack of explanation of what was going on in the town or characters was just lazy writing. The most explanation you get is just characters saying it’s part of the weird lore of the town because they don’t even understand. Also, there were parts where it was a bit repetitive when describing things. It was still a decent book, and I’m not too disappointed that I spent time reading it.
