Thank you @netgalley for the ARC of Where He Can't Find You by Darcy Coates. Once I started this book, I couldn't stop reading. It was so creepy and engaging. Although it's YA, it doesn't read as YA. My daughter is started to get into reading horror and I will definitely recommend this book to her.

People are disappearing in a small town only to be found with their bodies sewn together with red thread. There are rules to keep you safe, like don't go out without telling someone where you are. Don't go out alone. When Abby Ward's sister goes missing, she and her friends must find her and defeat the monster.

If you enjoy stories like "It", but wouldn't mind something with a faster pace, this is it. I had a good time.

This was a really fun book! Kind of Stranger Things-ish. A strange little town is home to ALOT of disappearing people and rules to hopefully keep people safe. A group of teenagers have been living through it and trying to figure out the possible serial killer in town responsible. But is it human or a monster. I loved the characters and the story was really unusual and creepy with the missing people turning up later as strange sewn together monstrosities. My only real complaints were that it’s a YA book and some points were wrapped up a little too quickly.

The end was a bit disgusting, I loved it.
