This book was just as good as I’d hoped it would be. I loved the main characters and their dynamics, I loved the vibes of this book; very much reminded me of Stranger Things!!

I was interested in this book from the start and couldn’t come up with what I thought the answer was. The further I got into the book the more invested I was, and I definitely would have finished this in one day if I hadn’t started it so late at night. This book had countless twists and turns and had me on the edge of my seat, trying to figure out what was happening to the residents of Doubtful. By the end, none of my answers were correct. This book reminded me a little bit of IT, but was different in a great way. Really, really good book.

Loved this! Spooky season opener—if you’re a horror fan, check this out! I listened to it on audio—still gave me the chills at times. Another Darcy Coates win IMO!
