Taut and absorbing! I struggled to put it down. Murder on a tropical beach, a limited ring of suspects, and motives aplenty. Knocked off a couple of stars because I just never could *like* anyone in the story, possibly because we see through the eyes of one of the characters and are looking at others as she sees them, through a lens of suspicion. Also, some of it is just plain improbable.
