A nice quick read, at times I found it difficult to make sense of the language but that is likely down to my lack of intelligence rather than bad writing. I liked the fast pace of the book and how the story progressed.

ouch ): i appreciated a lot of the notes given by carmen maria machado however comma i think i want to reread it with them already in mind in order to fully immerse myself in the story. we love the gay vampires and the pain of first love.
