John Grisham

Used to be a major Grisham fan years ago. Was disappointed in Camino Island but the subject matter was intriguing for this one ( innocent people on death row). Glad I read it, it was very good and learned a lot about death row and our judicial system ( not good).

Here's hoping these characters show up in many more books!! GREAT story! Couldn't put it down. I was SO worried at the end. Read the Acknowledgements at the end... tells where the idea came from- EXCELLENT!! Thank you, John Grisham for never disappointing!

One of the best books I have read this year. I was so invested in the characters. Honestly I would love to see more like this one

Have always enjoyed a John Grisham read, this was no exception. Loved the characters...(although on occasion I thought there were a few too many to keep track of!) Especially love the main character of Cullen Post, a lawyer turned Episcopal minister. This is a work of fiction...and one has to remember that while reading...there have been lots of excellent books written that are true accounts of wrongful convictions...(Mr. Grisham even penned one himself)...but this is a good story...read the true and the fiction...both are fascinating studies into how justice can be manipulated...and not for the good.

Good topic, but stories did not hold my interest.

Audiobook

Grisham is always solid and an unchallenging listen.

Cullen Post is a very likable character – an attorney who became an Episcopal minister and then became an innocence advocate working to get wrongful convictions overturned. The book starts a little slow but stick with it. The main case is very interesting and the pace picks up nicely. A very good read.

Fast read (listen), great characters, excellent storytelling. Recommend.

It's an interesting book. I learned quite a few things about trials and prosecutions.

Solid Grisham read. Kept me engaged throughout.
