The storyline is rubbish, it’s poorly written and it’s cringe worthy - and i’m not just talking about the bits that are supposed to be. I fkn hated this so much

I have such visceral hate for Tom. he was such a terrible human, and I truly wanted to enter the book and beat him up. "Mr. I have a thing for student nurses." nasty piece of work.
I truly wanted to smack Zara! like girl, get a grip and get it together. her lack of self-esteem and self-preservation were atrocious. like stand up and demand more from men and yourself. also, her level of delusional immediately falling in love and thinking she's in a relationship with every man that crossed her path is ridiculous. I'm glad she had her break through in the end, but she definitely needs more work on her self-esteem.
In terms of the themes of the book, there seemed to be a lot of conversations around weight, body odour, and self presentation. However, i felt it was done in quite a derogatory way. it was always so self-deprecating and based on how much attention she could get. yes, I know it's fiction, but is dating truly this shocking, or are dating apps the issue here?
There was also a number of typos and grammar errors and little items in the story that didn't match from one chapter to another.

Really wasn’t vibing with the writing style at all and the story itself was just kind of gross?
Easy reading. Ultimately a good beach read (regrettably I wasn't on a beach).
Enjoyable but not going to win awards.

Hilarious as ever. Zara is such a character, exploring the world of dating but this isn’t the usual wishy, washy romantic love story. It’s realistic, hilarious and rather vulgar 😂
Totally put off by the level of crass in the writing! And I mean euw-territory crass, not smut (being so broke you can't afford toilet paper and use a scrunchie to wipe yourself??? What did that poor scrunchie ever do to deserve this fate? What about when you'll next need toilet paper? What will be sacrificed then, on top of hygiene?) It just went on like this every other paragraph on every page. It read like the equivalent of boy-farts-at-every-single-chance 'funny' but in female/women form. Just...no.
A Hilarious Rom-Com with Heart
This book had me chuckling from cover to cover! Zara, the protagonist, is a relatable character who experiences a rollercoaster of emotions, and I felt every single one of them. While the plot is somewhat predictable, it never diminished my enjoyment.
The author's writing style is engaging, though there are a few minor grammatical errors. Some scenes may be considered explicit for sensitive readers, but the author handles them with a humorous and almost relatable tone.
Overall, this is a lighthearted and entertaining read perfect for a relaxing afternoon.
