This was my first book by this author, and definitely not the last! Let’s face it:
This is the best enemies-to-lovers romance story I’ve ever read!! Hands down. The BEST!

Ok ok I know it is a New Adult book but the drawing out of the feud drove me mad. Like why tell me why these two families hated each other. Did it make me not want to keep listening heck no, it made me keep listening because I HAD to know why!

I loved the character and the setting of this book. The sisters and the brother kind of steal your heart.

Oh we have to talk about the heat between Maggie and Tate is so hot your ear will turn red. I loved the enemies to lovers it really is icing on the cake.
The ending was perfect!
I loved the narration.

This book completely blindsided me. In the best possible way. I loved everything about it. It is beautifully written for starters. And it is literally unputdownable. I just didn’t want to stop reading. Victoria Denault wrote a masterpiece. The story, the characters, the setting, the plot twist, the ending! Blindsided deserves more than five stars. It’s brilliant!

Blindsided is a very entertaining, laugh-out-loud, steamy, and emotional enemies to lovers slash secret relationship slash forbidden love story that will have you rushing to the end to find out what happens. And I’m telling you, the way everything comes together at the end is just brilliant.

Tate Adler and Maggie Todd live in neighboring farms, but a feud between their families has made then lifelong enemies. And they have no idea why. But the hate is real, though. And their banter is hilarious. Their animosity is mostly inherited and it developed when they were kids, so when they find themselves forced to spend more time together as adults, they realize that they actually have a very volatile and explosive chemistry. And when it catches fire, things will never be the same again.

I loved everything about Blindsided. It is hilarious, but it has an emotional counterbalance that gives it depth, not only to the story but to the characters and what they’re going through. It’s the perfect introduction to the Moo U series based on Sarina Bowen’s World of True North. The college atmosphere blends perfectly with the rural environment and the hockey. And the side characters will have you wanting for more. I cannot wait for all these hockey players!

I also loved the Vermontyness of it. I’m sure that’s not even a word, but it should be. All the farm talk, the farmers’ market shenanigans, the family dynamics, the apples, and the goat cheese insults had me smiling from ear to ear. And let’s not forget the barn.

Blindsided is a dream come true for True North fans. It has that Vermonty magic about it, but it’s perfectly wonderful as a standalone. It really is outstanding on its own, and I recommend it to anyone who loves hockey, farmers, and great romance stories.

This book was extremely cringeworthy. I dnf at 15%. I can’t imagine this book ever getting written if the roles were reversed. And the girls were just awful to Tate, even before know it was him, and just so shallow and cringe that I had to stop. It wasn’t entertaining and I had second hand embarrassment just reading it.

The writing itself was okay and I’d probably give the author another shot, but the premise of this one was just no for me.

First book by Victoria Denault that I have read and I am a fan!

This book was a little bit of everything! Tate Adler and Maggie(Magnolia)Todd have to by my favorite enemies to lovers that I have read. Tate and Maggie are from two different families that have a very long ongoing feud between them and to be honest, they are kind of unsure as to what caused it as nobody can really seem to pin point it. However, it brings them to the same place, picking up the grandfathers from jail as it seems they have gotten into a brawl...lol. Yes, the grandfathers of the two not Tate and Maggie.

This brawl results the two families sharing a tent at Farmers market. This "sharing" was not an easy thing to do but they had their moments when things were going eh, okay. Through out the book, Tate and Maggie try to keep the angst with each other as they feel they should due to the families feud, but c'mon, how can one resist the Hockey playing, swoony, charming smoke-show that is Tate Adler. Not even Maggie, the fierce, independent gives zero f's woman she is! The tension between these two was not missed and I am not an outdoor person and you would not catch me in a barn/farm but if it was with Tate...yep, I'd be there quick, fast and in a hurry!

This book was sweet, steamy and so enjoyable. The side characters added to the banter that gave it the comic relief. Oh, and when you do figure out the "feud"!!! Yeah, I was no expecting that AT ALL! I definitely recommend this book. It is part of the Moo U series, however, this can totally be a stand alone!

Uh, I wish this sequel had more to offer than Boyfriend as the blurb was far more enticing than than its predecessor, but the writing was honestly a bit slobby. I had to drag myself through the first 20%, and the narrative never really peaked. I also wish there’d been more references to Weston and Abbi - whom I immensely enjoyed - but it felt like the author was busy introducing the next line of characters… I guess this one was even more underwhelming than the first one.

Another Vermont book to help me cope with Texas summers. I loved the ancient family drama and the reveal of what started it all.

I truly enjoyed this book!! What a fun way to kick off the new Moo U series! I can’t wait to see what comes next! I’m a sucker for enemies to lovers tropes and this book gave me all the vibes. I loved that we got to see more of their world than just the university and hockey rink as well. Absolutely pick this book up ASAP!
