The short story was really too short to rate, plus it was free. It ended more abruptly than I would have liked, but I did enjoy the moral quandary.

This one is a nice, quick adventure where the rag-tag crew and passengers of the Nomad come up against their first challenge. 4/5 on Goodreads.

This was a quick, fun adventure. I actually liked it a lot more than the prequel novella told from the hero's standpoint despite being shorter and with less series-related meat. A good pick-me-up as I wait for the next book.
