The solution to this one was, if anything, even more ridiculous than the last. One thing I enjoy about this series is how grounded it feels - it's really just as much about the community and the cops as it is about the mysteries - but this one was kind of over-the-top in terms of the actual killer. I also felt like Erica's behavior was getting kind of beyond the pale in terms of interfering in police investigations. The cliffhanger at the end was quite something, too; I'd be furious if I had to wait another year to find out what happens.

Es increíble cómo me enganchan todos sus libros, tan solo ha habido uno que no me ha gustado especialmente, pero la verdad que este libro me tuvo tan enganchada a él que estuve leyéndolo desde la 1 de la mañana hasta las 7 de la mañana porque no podía despegarme. Me ha encantado, simplemente. No esperaba tal desenlace, y por más que le di mil vueltas, y a pesar que ciertas cosas eran obvias a medida que pasaba el libro, creo que lo quiso así, la idea principal no se me pasó por la cabeza ni por un segundo.

I love this series, and thought The Drowning was one of Camilla Lackberg's best! The characters, the plot, the intrigue... and the cliff hanger. SO. GOOD. The ending was a surprise, but one that I saw coming JUST a little bit ahead of the reveal. I definitely recommend this book.
