I think this book is worth to be read at least once in a lifetime, especially for politicians, journalist, and social activists. The author did an amazing job in summing up all the main concepts and foundations of the worst autocracies around the world.

Without going all political on here, I think this is a read that everyone should take some time to read, especially with the current situation that's going on in the States. (I would highlight Chapter 5 and the epilogue more than anything else.)
