Tja… vielleicht hatte ich zu hohe Erwartungen, weil die Bücher so gehypt werden. Es war auch kein schlechtes Buch, aber mehr als knapp 4 von 5 Sternen vergebe ich nicht. Die Maja in der Gegenwartsgeschichte fand ich hin und wieder schon sehr schnöselig und die Liebesgeschichte ging mir auch etwas schnell voran. Die Belle in der Vergangenheitsgeschichte ist mir zeitweise auch auf den Nerv gegangen. Und wieso bitte muss die Vergangenheitsstory ein Mann lesen, obwohl alle Hauptfiguren Frauen sind? Das Setting in Brasilien fand ich aber gut. Aber ob ich jetzt dringend alle weiteren Bände lesen muss, wo ja der erste noch einer der besseren sein soll? Ich weiß nicht…
