I don't fully agree with everything Luxemburg said, as in her goal of completely throwing down Eduard Bernstein, she exaggerates a few times and doesn't always show the full picture, but overall, this was a pretty good read

thought this would just be a political text but Luxemburg answers questions concerning reform by delving into marxist political economy (some of which went over my head tbf), historical materialism, value theory, bourgeois history, militarism, the role of trade unions in regard to the revolution and so much more.. so so good, i loved it.

Rosa Luxeburg brilliantly explains the opportunist line of reformism and why it will not only fail, but aid the bourgeoisie. I've learned so much with such a short book, a testament to her abilities as a writer and a theorist.
I give this book a lower score, because the edition I bought was full of typos. It makes me sad how little care was put into this work. If you are interested in reading this book (and I insist you do), please get a different edition.

Luxemburg provides an excellent critique of democratic socialism as it existed in Germany pre-WWII. Ultimately, she affirms that capitalism cannot be infinitely reformed and that it will always collapse under its contradictions.

Tremendo libro de Rosa yendo punto por punto de la social democracia de Alemania en la actualidad las 2 partes estan por igual pero en su momento la primera fue en el 1899 y la siguiente en 1908.

Well argued, but with the benefit of hindsight: clearly wrong in its predictions. It’s easy to cringe at her snarky dismantlement of Bernstein, especially when his predictions come out looking far more accurate.
This ages the book substantially.
