wow I really loved this book. it had me laughing and almost crying. I loved the ending. such a good book.
Quinn, what can I say? She still never opens up. I love how there wasn't a perfect HEA, but for the love of all things holy. SPEAK WOMAN!
***Contains major spoiler***
I loved this book a lot! But Quinn did get quite confusing at times and I found myself at some points screaming at my kindle at Quinn because of what she was doing.... And I'm not sure I liked the way it ended.. Like I understand that they got back together but just the way that it just kinda cut off. Not a big fan on that.
Also I like books that change point of view but at some points when it was in Ben's point of view I really wanted to know what Quinn was thinking. Especially during some points in the books where they get into arguments. And then the author never really does say how Quinn felt during that point of time. Same with the times that it's in Quinn's and I wanted to know what Ben was thinking.
But overall I loved this book except for those little flaws..

Wow this book sure has a lot of mixed reviews. Or well it appears either you loved it or hated it. Me I really liked it. It was frustrating at times sure but any book that evokes emotion and gets me wound up is sure to get a 4 star from me. Starting the next book right away.
Though the negative things about this book outweigh the positive, I'll start off with mentioning the negative (being the predictable girl I am).
Okay, I'm just going to go:
This goes without saying, but this book was full DRAMA! Ooh buddie! It frustrated me because I couldn't find a part in the book that didn't have a solution or an end to the drama. There seemed to be no moral to the story, and it was quite pointless. The end dissatisfied me most because it seemed to go in the predictable and cliched direction of having the two main characters make up It was too abrupt for me, and I was left hanging. The book lacked depth and fair execution.
Now on to the good:
I found Quinn and her actions/thoughts very relatable and realistic. Campbell's character development was smart and well written (to an extent). The best part of the book was the beginning, when I became familiar with Quinn's life and when Ben and Quinn first met. Once the drama struck, I was put off.
Overall: I loved Quinn and Ben but not the drama.
[Plus I didn't like the confusing plot holes]
Campbell did a good job, though. :)

I have been desperate to read this for ages so I ended up buying this a few months ago, and only just reading it now (I am awful at reading books I have purchased for my ipad)
The situation Quinn is in wasn't what I expected, and a lot of times I wanted to make everything better for her. I think she made a huge mistake in what she does that causes her and Ben to split up, but I also think she could have had better friends so she didn't feel the need to pretend her life was perfect for them.
Quick read that I really enjoyed.

3.5 stars. If you are looking for a book where the heroine is a hot mess, look no further. Thank goodness the second book about Quinn and Ben is already out!
Good read! Quinn is a girl who has closed herself off emotionally due to things that occur within her family. I actually enjoyed the way she was written. No one is perfect, especially in their teen years. She has a lot of issues and, instead of confronting them, she chooses to sink into herself and put others off, making things much worse.
Her relationship with Ben is naturally affected and it was interesting to watch situations between them unfold. I will definitely finish the series!

Sweet and entertaining all the way through. I was definitely rooting for the main couple. The ending felt like it was missing something. I would have liked to see Quinn get more closure on things, perhaps get into some sort of help. But despite all her flaws, she was a gorgeous and great MC to follow, and all I wanted the whole way through was for her to get a happy ending.
Unrelated and having no effect on the rating I gave it, but there were several formatting errors and typos that were jarring. Especially quotation marks out of place.

This was just a frustrating book for me. So, don't take my 1 star rating to heart.
Others may love this book - I just don't like cheaters. I couldn't forgive someone who cheated. I know that I would not be able to build the trust back up and would not be able to forgive them fully, ever.
So, kuddos to Ben for still wanting Quinn even after she tore him apart.
But beyond that, Quinn is such a mess, she shouldn't be with anyone. She can't even have friends without throwing herself at every male or feeling competition from every female. She's so unstable she's popping pills and drinking like it's an afterschool sport. I would have loved to have a little more "I need to get myself better before I drag anyone into my crap again" and a little less her stumbling back into her ways...
Most odd however was the addition of the violence in the home by the father that was never addressed. the obvious addiction her mom has - never addressed. Not a very uplifting book.
